switch isn't a bad console, it's designed for people that are on the go and want to play vidya without being restricted to a tiny phone screen or touchscreen controls. it was never designed for bloated AAA trash that barely runs, but for something intermediate between a phone game with no "deep" gameplay and oversized vidya that's clearly meant for a PC. it's good for local multiplayer and basic party games. being irrationally angry at its existence is just like sony/microsoft/nintendo fanboyism from the 6th gen.
